Hello!
I am working with a few individuals to try and plant fruit and nut trees in several of Eugene and Springfield’s public parklands, and was wondering if anyone else was interested in helping with such an effort. Any level of support (talking with officials, surveying planting areas, helping with planting, donation of trees) would be more than appreciated.
Also, I will be planting many trees over the next week–some chestnut varieties, heartnuts, and monkey puzzles. I may not be able to find an appropriate space for all of them, so if you think you can use the remaining plants, or if you know of a possible site for them, e’mail me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
