Please Vote for my idea to create a Permanent Indoor Farmers Market in Eugene to win $10,000

Filed under: miscellany — erinely @ 10:56 pm

Hello,

I am trying to win $10,000 (from Advanta a credit card company that supports small business owners) to start the process of creating a permanent indoor farmers market here in Eugene.

If you could pass this on to everyone in the network and encourage them to vote, we could perhaps win the money to do this here in Eugene.

The model that I have based my idea on is being done in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  You can read more about their building here:
http://www.santafefarmersmarket.com/institute/future/

My suggestion needs a lot more votes to get up into one of the top two positions so it can be considered for the final vote later this month.

You will have to register on the site to place your vote, I know many people don’t want to have to register their information but that is the only way you can vote.  The voting will go on all the month of December, so you will need to go back to the site and continue to follow the contest over the course of this month because there will be another vote later on if my idea gets into one of the top positions.

I submitted an idea to ideablob.com and I have a chance to win $10,000.
My idea needs your vote.  Please click here: http://www.ideablob.com/ideas/894-Permanent-Indoor-Farmers-Market

It does not matter if you live in Eugene or not, you can vote for any idea in the contest.

I would appreciate it if you can please pass this on to anyone and everyone….if we could get $10,000 to make this happen here in Eugene it would be amazing.

Looking for Home

We are an easy-going, highly skilled, drug and alcohol-free married couple looking for a long-term care-taking position in the Eugene area or a fixer-upper with lease to own option. We need garden and greenhouse-space, wood-heat, outbuildings, trees and good and ample water. We are both carpenters and gardeners and have the skills necessary for home and small-farm maintenance. Check out our webpage on the Intentional Communities’ web site to see what we’re trying to manifest in terms of a self-supporting, income-sharing community. http://directory.ic.org/records/?action=view&record_id=21332
