Hi,
My name is Aimee Carson and I’m currently working as a Land/Permaculutre intern at Lost Valley Educational Center. We’re working towards the establishment of an on-site grey water system but unfortunately a variety of of permitting issues continue to be an obstacle for us. I’m looking to connect with anybody that may be involved in ongoing activity with regards to the approval of grey water systems in Oregon. We’re also hoping to set up some meetings with interested parties so that we may strategize and come up with a more cohesive plan. If anybody has info, or would like to connect regarding this issue, please get in touch. Thanks.
Hello,
My husband and I have a dream. We want to create an organic farm, nursery, educational center for young people and adults. Chris has 30 years experience as a farmer/handyman/renaissance man. My background is in teaching and camp counseling and helping people find where their bliss and gifts intersect with the world’s need. We have all the skills needed, we just don’t have the location. We are hard workers yet of modest means.
Ideally we’d love to find a small farmhouse (2-3 bedroom), within 30 minutes of Eugene, with woodheat and a sunny exposure. We need good well-water and space for a greenhouse (we can build it). We need a dry work-shop with electricity. We would be happy to do fixer-upper kinds of things - painting, fence repair, carpentry (I’m skilled in these areas too).
Do you know of a farmhouse standing empty that would love to come alive with our dream?
Thank you,
Llyn and Chris
